The ProForm Smart Strider elliptical engages your entire body, burns calories and tones muscles for your desired results. The user can select from 18 digital resistance levels to adjust the workout intensity. The user can keep an eye on their speed, time, distance traveled, and calories burned on the large LCD monitor. Users can also plug their iPod or MP3 player into the Intermix Acoustics 2.0 Sound System.

Build Quality

The ProForm Smart Strider’s frame is highly durable and made of commercial-gauge solid steel construction. The frame is built to last with a lifetime warranty, but will only support users up to 275 pounds. Some users have reported that the frame can be a bit wobbly due to the folding mechanism.

Heart Rate Monitor

The ProForm Smart Strider features heart monitor with an included wireless chest strap. Additional heart monitors are located on the swinging arm handles’ grips. The user needs only to hold the handles firmly while they work out, and their heart rate is displayed on the machine’s built-in LCD monitor.

Display and Console

This elliptical machine has many built-in accessories on its console, such as a cooling fan, a water bottle holder, an input jack that allows you to connect your iPod or MP3 player to the sound system, and a tablet holder. The display screen is touchscreen and shows the user’s time, heart rate, distance traveled, and much more.

Programs

The ProForm Smart Strider offers 30 preset workouts. These preset workouts include fat burning routines, cross training, hill climbing, interval and cardio programs. The user can also create their own workouts or even customize their current workout manually.

Warranty

This particular elliptical comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame, a three year warranty on the parts, and a one year warranty on the labor.
