The Smooth Agile DMT X2 Elliptical Trainer is a solid, well-built and well-balanced workout machine. With a unit weight of 223 pounds, this machine can accommodate and support up to 350 pounds. This elliptical comes with an adjustable stride from 18 inches to 21 inches. This enables an entire family with members having different strides length to conveniently use the machine without undue stress to their joints.

Assembly

Although the company made it possible for easy do-it-yourself assembly, they offer a premium service of having the machine assembled in the room of your choice. Assembly of the machine and instructions on how to use it however is only offered for customers that avail of the premium delivery service. The two flights of stairs rule apply.

Heart Rate Monitor

The DMT X2 trainer comes with a wireless chest strap so that the machine can effectively monitor your heart rate and adjust the intensity of your workouts automatically based on your heart rate. If the machine detects that your heart rate is too fast, it will lower your workout intensity. Display

The DMT X2 trainer is has an LCD display which shows information in blue lights. The LCD display console can be easily read and displays the following information: speed, RPM, Motion profile, time, distance, program level, watts, resistance profile, and estimated calories burnt.

The trainer also comes with an iPod docking station and MP3 connection so that you will get entertained while working out. It also comes with a simple lite touch thumb control to easily adjust the intensity of your workouts and to shift from one pre-set program to another.

Programs

There are 15 challenging programs to choose from which will give you the total workout that your body needs. These include a manual program, a fat burning program, an interval intensity program, endurance program, watts control program, heart rate control program, 5 user customizable programs and 3 target programs.

The three target programs of this trainer offers you the choice of achieving a distance target, time target and calories target. For the calorie target, simply enter the amount or number of calories that you want to burn and start working out with the machine until you reach your goal.

Fat burning programs will give users a low level intensity workout at longer periods of time which is ideal for burning more calories and fat off from your body. The endurance program is ideal for users that want to increase their muscle tones while still burning calories.
